About
Corporate first. Small business since.
I spent my twenties building forecast models at one of the biggest banks in the country. I've spent the years since building tools for companies small enough that the owner answers the phone.
The thread through all of it is the same. A business runs on a process that lives in spreadsheets, inboxes, and one person's memory. It works until it doesn't. I build the piece of software that should have been there: the portal a customer logs into to approve a quote, the dashboard that shows margin without a Friday export, the workflow that moves a lead before it goes cold.
Lever Agency is the company I started for that work. Cinematiq is the one I co-founded a decade earlier, making digital cinema packages for film festivals, and it's where I learned to automate a service business from the inside. The side projects are how I keep learning. The photographs are how I stop working.
I like working with owners directly. You get me, not an account manager, and you'll see a working demo before you see a proposal. If you want to talk, write to me.

Off the clock
The rest of it.
Pittsburgh, with my family. A camera on most trips, which is why there's a whole section of this site that has nothing to do with software. A family coloring-book app that started because a kid at a restaurant needs something to do.
